Our experienced skipper, Tor Arvid Kristiansen, has over 30 years of sailing experiBarents Sail AS is now owned by Steve Arntzen, an experienced skipper with over 35 years of fishing expertise in the Barents Sea. Steve specializes in Arctic snow crab fishing and king crab fishing along the Finnmark coast, possessing unmatched knowledge of the region. Born and raised in Lofoten, Steve has extensive experience navigating the waters around Lofoten, Troms, Finnmark, and Svalbard. He is passionate about sharing the wonders of the sea, including whale watching opportunities to see blue whales, sperm whales, humpback whales, orcas, and porpoises.ence and has been driving boats for more than 40 years. He has sailed along the entire Norwegian coast and in the Mediterranean, which gives him the experience needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for you and your group.
